.Last week, I proudly voted for the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) alongside my House colleagues who believe in peace through strength, America First, and ensuring a lethal fighting force.

Our warfighters, including the dedicated airmen at McConnell Air Force Base, deserve the best. The FY26 NDAA prioritizes better pay, innovative technologies, cutting bureaucratic red tape, housing modernization, improving health care access, and supporting our military families.

.French lawmakers are looking to drastically increase their Digital Services Tax, or DST. This tax would unfairly target U.S. businesses, taxing Americans $1.7 billion annually. Kansans should not be held responsible for filling France’s budgetary gaps.

Recently, I led a letter with my colleagues to President Trump outlining the issues at hand and solutions to protect American taxpayers from these discriminatory foreign taxes.
