Estes Sworn Into Office for Kansas’ 4th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kan.) was sworn into office Tuesday evening and now officially begins his duties representing the 4th District of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives. Speaker Paul Ryan administered the congressional oath of office.

In a statement, Estes said:

“From Stafford to Sedan, from Mount Hope to Mulvane, the people of the 4th District of have given me the opportunity to represent them on the issues that are important to all of us. I take this responsibility seriously, and I’m eager to roll up my sleeves and get to work for my fellow Kansans.”

Earlier in the afternoon, Estes hosted an open-house reception in the district’s Washington, DC office.
