WASHINGTON–Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement after President Donald Trump delivered the State of the Union address to Congress:
"Tonight was a clear message of freedom and prosperity for the American people," said Rep. Estes. "The state of our union is stronger than ever before, and all Kansans are benefiting from this great American comeback. Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi's speech-ripping act is overshadowing the president's recognition of a 100-year-old Tuskegee airman, a family reunited with a deployed soldier, and the bright futures for children who defeated health odds, aspire to greatness in the Space Force, and can attain their educational dreams. The stark difference between resistance and results was on full display." |
