Rep. Estes Announces Supplemental Emergency Relief Grants for Kansas

WASHINGTON-Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement announcing Supplemental Emergency Relief grants totaling $3,776,956 for Kansas:
 
"In 2019 our state was impacted by incredible floods that damaged homes, businesses, farms and infrastructure," said Rep. Estes. "Kansans are resilient, and we are working to rebuild our lives following those devastating downpours. Through grants awarded to the Kansas Department of Transportation, Bureau of Indian Affairs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, our state will benefit from $3,776,956 in Supplemental Emergency Relief as we repair and rebuild here in the Sunflower State."

Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
