WASHINGTON – Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement regarding the Senate passage of the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act: "Kansas small businesses and their employees need relief during this crisis, and thankfully the Senate just voted to add $310 billion to the successful Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The additional support includes $60 billion for vital community banks and credit unions to lend PPP dollars, and it ensures that farmers and ranchers are eligible for Emergency Economic Injury Disaster (EIDL) grants and loans. This bill also includes $100 billion for hospitals and testing. |
