Rep. Estes Applauds Lower Insulin Cost for Seniors

WASHINGTON – Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) applauded the Trump administration's negotiations of a $35-per-month co-pay cap for most seniors on Medicare.

"Many seniors rely on insulin, and now the 1 in 3 Medicare enrollees with diabetes will benefit from a newly negotiated $35-per-month insulin co-pay rate," said Rep. Estes. "This is reassuring for the 3 million seniors who use insulin and have had to pay higher prices for this necessary treatment, and follows several years of  Republicans in Congress and the Trump administration working to make health care more affordable without sacrificing quality care."
