Rep. Estes Votes Against NDAA Veto Override

WASHINGTON – Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement after voting against overriding President Trump's veto of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021.

"Our men and women in uniform bravely defend the rights and freedoms of Americans every day. While the NDAA has many positive aspects that support our troops, our freedom of speech is also under attack here at home from big tech companies. This has been especially evident in acknowledging voter fraud on social media that is then flagged or censored. It's time for big tech to do the right thing by living up to and exporting American values, not importing censorship-tactics from China."

Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
