Rep. Estes Votes No on Expanded Union Legislation

WASHINGTON – Today Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) voted no on the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

"Federal law already protects employees' right to organize, but the PRO Act undermines workers' rights, ensnares employers in unrelated labor disputes, disrupts the economy, and forces individual Americans to pay union dues regardless of their wishes," said Rep. Estes. "Instead of propping up union bosses, Kansans deserve legislation that gives workers choice and flexibility."

Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
