WASHINGTON – After President Joe Biden announced vaccine and COVID-19 mandates for federal workers, businesses with 100 or more employees, and schools, Rep. Estes released the following statement.

"Kansans are rightfully outraged at this gross overreach of the federal government and Biden's bully tactics," said Rep. Estes. "Congress and the Supreme Court must take immediate action to make clear that this mandate will not stand. Individuals and parents should make the decisions regarding the medicines they receive. President Biden has willfully overstepped his authority."

Ron Estes, one of only a handful of engineers in Congress, worked in the aerospace, energy and manufacturing sectors before representing Kansas’ 4th Congressional District since 2017. He is a fifth-generation Kansan, former state treasurer, and serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Economic Committee.
