REP. ESTES VOTES FOR SECURING US, AGAINST RECKLESS SPENDING

WASHINGTON – Last night Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) voted in favor of robust defense spending and against the bloated omnibus spending bill.

"The House took two separate spending votes – I voted in favor of the first that funded the Department of Defense and against the second that unnecessarily increases spending and will further drive up debt and inflation," said Rep. Estes. "The major focus of our federal government should be the protection of this nation, and recent global events showcase why it's important to fund defense operations, like those at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita."
