Rep. Estes Upholds Commitment to America and Common Sense Legislation

WASHINGTON – Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) upheld Republicans' Commitment to America and pushed for common sense legislation. During the Education and the Workforce legislative markup, Rep. Estes voted for the Parents Bill of Rights Act and the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023.

"Our children are our future, and Republicans are working to build a stronger America for them," said Rep. Estes. "These bills that we passed in committee support the right for parents to have an active voice in their child's education and protect female athletes from political schemes – ensuring a level playing field."

Rep. Estes serves on the House Education and the Workforce committee where these bills were marked up. Both pieces of legislation were passed by the committee and will be debated on the House floor at a later date. Rep. Estes was an original cosponsor of the Parents Bill of Rights Act and a cosponsor of the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023.
