House Aerospace Caucus Celebrates National Paper Airplane Day

WASHINGTON – Today on National Paper Airplane Day, the House Aerospace Caucus is launching a paper airplane to encourage young people to explore flight and STEM education.

"The House Aerospace Caucus encourages interest in STEM and the advancement of aerospace, and paper airplanes are a fun way to introduce young people to the exciting possibilities in aviation," said Chairman Ron Estes (R-Kansas). "This simple paper airplane design is great for kids of all ages, and adults who want to feel like a kid again. In an age filled with video games and smartphones, making and flying a paper airplane is a unique way to educate, entertain and inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators."
