Rep. Estes Visits South Central Kansas Medical Center, Winfield Middle School

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan./WINFIELD, Kan. – Last Wednesday Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) participated in a health care roundtable with area hospital administrators, hosted by SCK Health. A tour of SCK Medical Center followed. In the afternoon, Rep. Estes spoke with students and teachers at Winfield Middle School, stopping into multiple classrooms and taking some questions from students.

"Rural health care providers are critical for communities throughout south central Kansas. SCK Medical Center is exploring ways to better serve Kansans as they continue pursuing the designation of rural emergency hospital – something that will strengthen their viability and keep a local hospital in Ark City," said Rep. Estes. "I was also glad to have State Sen. Larry Alley join our conversation as the region's representative in the Kansas Senate."
