WASHINGTON – Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement on Sedgwick County Deputy Robert Kunze:

"Susan and I are praying for the family and friends of Sedgwick County Deputy Robert Kunze who was killed in the line of duty today," said Rep. Ron Estes. "Deputy Kunze was a law enforcement veteran who leaves behind a wife and child. His death is a reminder of the courage and heroism required of all those in law enforcement. I join with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office and our entire community in remembering the life of Deputy Robert Kunze."

Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the House Committee on Homeland Security.
