WASHINGTON—Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) was recently named a 'True Blue Member' by the Family Research Council (FRC) for his leadership on pro-family issues like defending the unborn.
"Since entering Congress, I have worked to support pro-life and pro-family initiatives like ensuring family planning Title X tax dollars don't go to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood and advocating for expanded 529 education savings programs. As abortion supporters throughout the country advocate for extreme measures like late-term abortions and infanticide, I’ll continue to work with President Trump and Congress to defend life and I appreciate this recognition by the Family Research Council."
Rep. Estes Receives his 'True Blue Member' recognition from
FRC Action President Tony Perkins on Feb. 28, 2019
"We thank Rep. Estes for voting to defend and advance faith, family, and freedom. As a 'True Blue Member' he voted 100% on FRC Action's Scorecard including to protect babies who are born alive after a failed abortion, help hard-working families set aside funds for an unborn child’s future education, and defund the individual mandate in D.C.," said FRC Action President Tony Perkins. "Rep. Estes deserves praise for his unwavering commitment to stand for life, family, marriage, and religious liberty. Kansans should be encouraged to know that they have a Member of Congress such as Rep. Estes who has come alongside other members and our president to begin the work of rebuilding our nation, and protecting the very values that made America great."
This Congress, Rep. Estes has cosponsored pro-life legislation including the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
