Rep. Estes Applauds ICT Grant

WASHINGTON—Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) applauded a grant awarded from the U.S. Department of Transportation to Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. The $6.6 million grant will go toward repairing and improving the airport’s runways.

"As Kansas’ largest commercial airport, Eisenhower is critical for our region’s transportation needs, connectivity and overall economy," said Rep. Estes. "This grant will ensure the airport’s runways are viable for years to come and is great news for our region and state.”

Ron Estes is a 5th generation Kansan and represents Kansas’ 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
